Theology Thursday is a casual, discussion-based venue for students and young professionals to raise and explore theological questions as they apply to life in contemporary culture.  The format is open and free-flowing; any participant may suggest a topic for discussion by the group.

About the Moderator:
David Ethridge serves as the Minister to Young Adults at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC.  David joined the Mount Vernon staff in 2013 after serving as a lay minister for 20 years at churches in Georgia, California, Virginia, and North Carolina. David is an associate instructor with “Walk Thru the Bible” and serves as the R. Craig Hamlin Chair for Old and New Testament Studies at the Roma Bible Institute headquartered in Budapest, Hungary.

As a bi-vocational minister David is also a practicing engineer, and holds an M. Div with Christian Apologetics from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a B.E.E. from Georgia Tech, and an M.S.E.E. from Stanford University.
