Hello Campers!
The Kid’s Choir Ministry of Mount Vernon Baptist Church would like to invite you to the 2014 summer choir camp! Who Is Like the Lord? is a multi-media, praise & worship kid’s musical featuring high-energy songs with vibrant DVD images for a one-of-a-kind presentation. Join Gary, Max, Jake, Sabrina and Molly and their history teacher at Main Street School, where together they learn how unique they are in God’s eyes, what worship is all about, and how they can make a difference in the world – even as kids. This is a wonderful opportunity to see kids excited about worship while learning about the heart of God!
Camp is for kids who have completed Kindergarten through completed 6th grade. The dates for choir camp are June 16- 20. The camp hours are 9:00 a.m. – 12:15. There will be a performance of the musical “Who Is Like the Lord?” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 20th.
In addition to preparing the musical, each day’s activities will include crafts, Bible Verse games, snacks, and special classes designed to peak the interests of each child.
Camp registration is $30 per child with a maximum charge of $75 per family. This provides you with a camp T-shirt, a book and CD of the musical (one per family), snacks and craft supplies. All checks should be made out to Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
This year’s choir camp promises to be a great time of learning in the Lord. Parents, in planning for this week, please note that we would like for all children to participate in the performance on Friday evening. This is the highlight of the week. Mark your calendars now and plan to attend!
