evermore (Mt. 19:6) is a community of young couples who meet each Sunday morning for expository bible study, mutual support, and purposeful mission. We emphasize the application of Biblical principles to marriage and parenting, with the goal that our family relationships may reflect the heart of God and display His kingdom to the world. evermore meets at 9:00 a.m. in room 2211 on the MVBC main campus.
For Summer 2017 we will have a series of lessons from Paul’s Epistle to the Colossians focusing on the divinity and humanity of Jesus of Christ, why He is the unique and perfect provision for our redemption, and how we can truly flourish in Him.
God gives every believer a spiritual gift (sometimes more than one!) for the edification of the body and the accomplishment of His purposes in the world (1 Cor. 12:7). To begin your journey in discovering how God has gifted you for His purposes, please follow the link below. You will complete a short (~10 minute) assessment and receive a customized response via email. Plus, to help you understand your gifts and how to use them—when you finish the assessment, you can download a profile sheet for each of your gifts on the website.
In addition to evermore, MVBC also provides monthly events for Young Marrieds to connect and share life:
- wonderful wednesdays – fun for moms and preschoolers
- cafe 2.42 – monthly meal for young marrieds and family
David and Janna Ethridge married in 1994 and are home-school parents of Caleb, Julianna, and Emma Kate. In 20 years of lay ministry, David and Janna have taught bible studies for adults, college, youth, and elementary-school ages at churches in Georgia, California, Virginia, and North Carolina. Their greatest desire is to see moms and dads growing together in Christ and encouraging their children to follow Him, even from their earliest years.
As an Atlanta native, David’s second greatest desire is to see the Falcons win the Super Bowl, which he doubts will happen before the Lord’s return.
